Jehovahs witnesses, why is Jesus called the Author of Life?

Acts 3:15: "You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. "

Shouldn't this title only be used for Jehovah? To be an author of something means to be the creator of it. So is Jesus the Creator?
