About a year ago I had read where it was a possibility that the Wrangler would acquire a small diesel engine to compensate for the current V6 slug. I think this a great idea providing Jeep with a motor that is torque rich and light on fuel consumption. Unfortunately, I have hear no further news on this great layout.
Has anyone else heard if Jeep would follow through with a Wrangler Diesel or not?
