I have a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee that won't start, it sat out all winter and the battery was dead. So I charged the battery, and it still won't turn over. I don't even hear the cranking sound like it wants to turn over.
Is this the alternator? Doesn't the alternator just bolt on, then you attach the belt?
Could it be anything else? It makes no noise when the key is in and I try to turn it over.
I took the battery back to the parts store where they are charging it now so I will know tomorrow. I ask this question because I need to know what else could be wrong?
