Jeep srt8 questions??? please help me out if you have one ?

Im getting a new car next month and i want a fast car and i have no clue how fast they go do they go fast? do they get good mph... Are they expensive??
 
my pap paid just over 43,000 for his 07 5.7 hemi that was all the options that year came with. my paps hemi topped out at 140 we were going 137mph when we let off they 5.7 hemi would be good enough for me but would like the srt trust me they will move too bad your wallet will be empty when you go past a gas station
 
The SRT-8 is definitely fast, especially for an SUV. But like the other cars that use the 6.1L V8 engine (Challenger/Charger/300C), it loves gas, and even more so since it's heavier than the cars. New, they can be very expensive, but if you look for a used one, they are super cheap... thanks to Chrysler's inability to hold any value whatsoever.

Check out the link below, the first one is an '06 with 30k and is only $25k. Now if that is not cheap for that kind of performance and cargo capacity, tell me what is!
