I have a 2001 cherokee classic 4wd automatic tranny. When Im going anywhere from 50-90 mph I notice the rpms will bounce and I can physically feel jeep kinda jerk back and forth with the rpms. It doesnt seem to happen when I accelerate, just when Im holding my foot on the gas enough to maintain the speed. Any ideas for me. (no check engine light)
the fuel filter is in the tank right? I dont think I remember seeing any inline filters

sounds like the fuel filter is clogged or partially blocked

Remove the old filter - lower the line running from the throttle body and drain all gas from the line.

Also turn the key on for a minute and drain the little bit out of the line from the tank - this insures only gas - no debris

Now install your new filter tigten down with line wrench.

Aside from that - I would say new sparkp plugs, make sure the gap is correct!
