I'm looking into buying a used car. My two prospective winners at the moment are a 1997 Jeep grand Cherokee and a 2002 jeep liberty sport.
They have about the same miles put on them so that's not an issue. And the cost difference is minimal.
Most jeep drivers know the GC is sturdier in general, but the one I'm looking at is 5 years older.
They were both very well maintained. Both interior's in wonderful condition. Never been smoked in.
The GC just had the engine head replaced. I'm kinda worried if one thing has gone wrong already, will more in a couple months? The both pretty much started right up no problem.
The GC has 4wd the liberty only has 2. But I've never had to use 4wd in other experiences so it's not a necessity.
This is pretty much just a matter of opinion, but it's been so hard to make up my mind.
