ive driven my wrangler for 3 years and never had a problem with people stealing stuff. ever. i leave my radar detector out and everything. i guess i just live in a nice area. but anyway, ive met people that have hadproblems but they all had nice stereos and stuff, the basic rule to me is put everything in the glove box or center console, they both lock. and if something wont fit it there then dont park it for an extended period of time. also you can get a thing called a duster cover which will cover the cargo area behind the front seats or an "insta-trunk" which covers the area behind the back seat and becomes locked and sealed with the back door locked. ive had both and got irritated so i just take my chances. another thing is dont flaunt what you have. if you have aftermarket stereo equipment dont go into a sketchy place with it loud as hell. and if you leave everything stock youll be fine.
