jeep issue problem turning on ? when it does turn right back off?

my jeep been having problems the last couple month's . it have trouble starting on in the Morning, and when it does turn on after, making a complete stop to a red light, or a stop sign it turn off. so i have to put it back on natural and turn it back on. it fine while im Driving. i bought a brand new BATTERY, and it isn't the starter,or anternater. the mechanic told me it the computer box is ruin. can that be right? and if it is . does it cost 500 to 600 to fix it??
 
I would have a mechanic check the idle control motor. It sounds like the motor could be sticking after sitting awhile. Once the vehicle is driven while coming to a stop (without foot on gas pedal) the car is having trouble holding the correct idle. This will cause the car to stall. I have never seen a computer box cause this issue although it is possible, but unlikely. To replace a computer you will be looking a cost of $500 to 600 dollars to fix.
