JEEP Grand Cherokee worth buying?

I have a Pontiac Grand Prix right now and my lease is almost up. My wife really likes how the Jeep drives but I always like having a car not SUV. How major would the transfer be from a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix to a Grand Cherokee? Also is the Limited the best trim to get. How are they; reliable, safe, fun to drive, all around great SUV? Is it worth buying at such an expensive price? Thanks!
 
Wow you actually leased a Grand Prix? Anyways, the JGC are fine, but you will spend A LOT more on gas. It also wont handle as well as the GP. Anyway, the best ones are the Limited since they have more options. Unless you specifically need to tow something or you go off road I'd just get a car. With gas prices the way they are(i.e. fluctuating) then it's best to just get an SUV only if you need one.

As far as price goes I'm not sure about now, but if you were looking a few months ago you could have gotten a huge steal on any SUV. Go lightly used and you can probably get one at 10-15K less than MSRP just a year old.
