Jeep Grand cherokee question?

How do you make the Antenna on the 2008 Jeep Grand cherokee. It doesn't say how to in the manual and when I turn the radio off it still stays up. Or does it always stay up? please help
does that mean it cant go up and down???? Cause i want to know if it will go back into the car like other cars
 
all antennas on the jeeps are fixed. and i think this goes for all chrysler group vehicles.
