Jeep Grand Cherokee key?

Jeep is a 2003 model, need a spare key, dealer wants over $100 for it. I am looking for a more cost efficient solutions.
 
Try walmart or a local hardware store. they are bound to be cheaper than the dealer.
 
ok well dealer wants 100 because they have to have a chip in them to start your jeep. i have a spare for my 04 cost 3.00 at walmart it will unlock doors and start jeep but will only run for 1-2 sec then shut off. i mainly use it when my keys are in the house and i need something out of my jeep. so i pull out my wallet and get the key. its good if you lock you keys in your jeep but wont help you with anything else.
 
$5 at any hardware store. might not have the emblem on it but it still turns over your engine!
