Was at a light did a neutral drop like an idiot...Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 99 Automatic Transmission- Whenever i put it in reverse it jumps and makes a clicking noise and won't back up. It's like it wants to but just won't go, just makes a mufled noise from my exhaust. Drive works normal, neutral is like 1st gear. Reverse lights come on when in reverse. Do I need a transmission rebuild, new transmission or is it something petty like a Linkage problem, or reverse band? PLEASE HELP!!
