Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 is it reliable? Owners or someone who drove one reply. I am looking to get a second vehicle. My current is a Subaru, and as far as reliability, this has no problems, at all. Now, I want another good car, but want to go American made. Are there any problems with these Jeeps that I need to check before I get it. I have decided to get it, so what if any issues should I check for, and how do I figure it out by looking at the car? This is a 2wd 6 cylinder. I haven't heard anyone complain about these, which is why I chose it. I only go JEEP or SUBARU. Oh, yeah, and how much would you pay for one with around 100k miles on it. I know it should be good for at least another 5 years, right?
