Recently i purchased an 88 Jeep cherokee XJ , It has the rare NP242 T-Case in it. I dont know to much about it other than it has the 2H,4high part time, 4H full time, n,and 4 L.I plan on building the rig up and was looking into Slip Yoke Eliminators..but im having troubles finding one for the NP242. i thought i read somewhere that NP242's came with a built in SYE but i find that hard to believe....
Basically i am looking for some information on if the T-Case is worth it or should i do a 231 swap or not. the rig will be a dual purpose trail and daily.
