I've had this problem with my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport where right in the range of 50-60mph it will shake, sometimes violently, especially when I hit a bump. It will sometimes do it if I hit a bump hard enough at 45, and sometimes while cruising at 55 I will get a mild shake with no bumps. I had this problem last summer and no one knew what it was, but it 'went away' during the winter/spring months. Here's the thing: I recently replaced my shocks (they were completely bottomed out) and the problem suddenly arose again, worse than ever. It's as if the weight of my jeep on the suspension was keeping the shake from happening, but now that the shocks are doing their job the shake is back.
No one seems to know what it is. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
