Jeep cherokee quick release doors?

I want to get some quick release doors on my 94 cherokee. I was thinking i could just cut off my hinges and put two tube like things in its place on the jeep and two rods like coming off of the door to slide into the tubes. would this work. and would there be an easier way to make it
