i have a 1989 jeep cherokee 4.0 4x4... any older cherokee owner knows the tilt steering column problem on these vehicles, well mine was loose so my dad and i took it apart, tightened the screws, and put it back together. the next day i got in it and noticed my brake lights were not working, the fuse was good but i replaced it anyways. then i noticed my rear turn tignals and back up lights were not working, fuses got replaced on them too...but my tail lights work great...i think this problem occured prior to taking apart the dash. also, my turn signals in the dash blink properly, and so do the front turn signals, i just get nothing from the rear....any ideas, i replaced the bulbs and checked for shorts, please help before i get a traffic ticket...
