I'm looking into fitting a towbar on my Jeep Cherokee 2002 CRD Sport. This model was called the Jeep Liberty in the US (and as above in Europe). I have purchased a Witter brand detachable Towbar, but now need to get the wiring (the electrics that will make the break lights etc work on the trailer). Could anyone please advise me on:
1. The part number I need to get
2. I am considering getting this from a salvage yard to save cash, is this item generic or compatible with other Jeep models (say for example could I get it off an older Grand Cherokee)
