I installed a new thermostat in My 1995 6 cylinder jeep cherokee. I cleaned the housing + the block then added the gasket with the formagasket glue. I placed the new thermostat in the block then covered it with the housing. I tightended up the two bolts and the foolish thing still leaks . Removed it again added more glue and then reinstalled it. Again it still leaks. Yep the hoses are fine its leaking where the housing meets the block. Im frustrated beyond belief. I know these housings can crack easy if the bolts are too tight. They are snug, I did not use a torque wrench. Also the serpentine belt is kinda in the way of the bottom belt so I have to push down in it in order to get My ratchet in there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks Dave
