Jealously Killing me how can I be less sel fish?

Okay , Basically the story is Me and My friend love this girl Catherine
Catherine knows we both love her Basically she confronted us both yesterday 1 by 1 Basically we spoke she asked if i loved her for a women or fun etc I am deeply in love with her however im 16 she 20 and like she said she likes me but for her im too young and went on saying I would give u a shot and so on. Basically my other friend who's 19 likes her too Catherine did turn him down as well but i know she likes hi and i know he likes her. my problem is I cannot get over Jealously yes i know im being selfish but how can i get over it?
 
Just try to keep your distance. If you're constantly thinking about it or seeing the pair of them - it won't get any better. In fact, it's bound to make things worse.

Try to focus your mind on other things - are you still in school? Or college or something? Focus on your studies if you are, or try to find a good hobby to keep your mind busy, rather than brooding over her and that guy.

If you can see that the pair of them like each other, then you need to accept it and step aside. Yes, it will hurt for a while and you may feel angry or jealous but eventually those feelings will subside and you can go back to life as it was before.

Just remember - don't brood. The more you think about it, the worse it'll become.
 
What can you do to make her take you when she wouldn't? Nothing. Just stick to your school and improve yourself. If she doesn't take you, it's her loss and someone else's gain.
