PLease tell me this is not true! I absolutely LOVE jay as philip, as a matter of fact i only began watching it again consistently when i saw he was recasted and now i am hearing that he has opted to leave??? What is going on? Noone can play Philip like he can and maybe if the writers gave him the screen time he deserved instead of focusing EVerything on Sami and Rafe ALL THE TIME he would stay! Don't get me wrong, I love seeing EJ. BIG ej fan but the sami ej rafe thing has been what days has been about for the last couple months and its sad. Jay is a awesome actor and his character had loads of potential if only the writers gave him the screen time. Honestly don't know if i'll keep watching days....I do wish him and shelley the best.
