jaw surgery

hi i am have to jaw surgery to correct my bite. I am very worried about possible complications from surgery? Like infection how safe is this surgery?:( I AM ALSO worried about the drug that put you under.

I haven't had surgery quite that invasive, but I have had jaw work done twice. With the care the took and the antibiotics I took, I didn't have any infection problems.

Have you had any surgery before? If not, you might want to talk to the doctor about what to do if you get nauseous. They may give you some anti-nausea medication. Both pain killers and anesthesia make me nauseous. You won't want to be throwing up after jaw surgery.
