I had a tooth extracted about 2 years ago and haven't had any trouble, though I recently noticed a very sore and tender spot under my jaw in the exact spot where the tooth was - it doesn't hurt when I don't touch it and it is not swollen, nor is there a lump or anything. I can eat normally. In fact I would not know there is anything wrong unless I press that spot. Any thoughts?
