Jaw injuries

3 wks. ago I slipped on the ice by a building and my jaw came in contact with a brick ledge on the side of the building, splitting my chin and the inside of my mouth. My jaw swelled and I was black and blue. The bruising has gone away but the end of my jaw is hard and swollen about the side of a small egg. What could this be? They took x-rays and said I did not break my jaw and I've been able to move it. It looks so funny. Any ideas?
 
it's probably swelling and scar tissue..it can get really hard afterwards like a lump. Should fade after a few weeks depending on the size and healing. Icing won't do too much good at 3 weeks out but can still minimize it. I would only get concerned if it's still there after a few months..
