I have had this problem for almost a year now! this is my second i860 phone and i STILL can't download games..i will get past the part where you click 'get it' and then after a few mienuts it will say error please cal motorolla and the they give me a number..i've called a bunch of times but they seem to not know the problem..i've taken it to a nextel store and they haven't a clue..my games disabled themselves too, the ones that come with the phone, those demos, and the nextel stroe deleted them and when they tried to instal the demos back, it would not work..Any help here?!?!?!?! PLEASE! O and also if the download 'does' go through (which it has only gone through 2 out of over 20 times) the game says 'suite corrupted'..ANYTHING at all is greatly apprecited!!

ringtones-i know that threads have been posted ALL over the place, but i haven't really 'payed' attention to them until i could downlaod programs on my new computer for ringtones...i need sumone who can tel me everything i have to get in order to do this!

the only thing that is surprising me, is that my i860 didn't work, and i jsut thought it was the phone...but then i got a new one and the new one doesn't work either..ticks me off really! there is nothing to do on the phone....but thank you for a reply!!!!
 
Hope you didn't deal with a mall rep. (Not that they're all bad, but most don't have service centers) Just took two mall purchased i730s into a service center and found the phones had damage and were put back in stock because the store couldn't replicate the problems and had no way of checking them out. The phones were sold as new to my mother and stepfather. They did not have the ground clips. One had a caved in RF Shield, the other, a burnt diode on the board. Have the phones checked out at a reputable service center. They will not steer you wrong if they show you the circuit board and any defects.
 
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...no, i got them BOTH at a Nextel store, not in the mall...which subforum do i go for ringtones? i took a quick glace and there are a lot of different forums for ringtones, but i didn't see one for nextels....
 
Well, if you can't find them off the main CPF pages, try running a search here for what you want and online for other sites. I know HoFo has an extensive library. NextelMods is more software oriented, but might be handy as well.
