Jailbroken Iphone 3.1.2 won't sync, recognized, or charged by my MacBook

Itunes 9.0.2. Any ideas? Jailbroken Iphone 3.1.2 won't sync, recognized, or charged by my MacBook Itunes 9.0.2. car/wall chargers all work. If i put my Iphone in DFU mode, the Mac recognizes it, but then requires a restore. I've tried just about every troubleshoot option to no avail. anyone have any ideas?
