I have had my iPhone for almost a year and I really want to have some SMS ringtones ("Nuclear launch detected" from SC2 anyone? 
) I have searched high and low for a way to download SMS ringtones but I have come to the conclusion that the iPhone has to be jailbroken. I'm kind of a goody two shoes and I've heard a lot of bad stuff (warranty is voided, slows down the phone, etc.) but I also heard that if you just restore the iPhone, Apply will never know. Also, I have absolutely NO apps so I actually wanted to jailbreak it from a long time ago (also wanted pretty themes~~) but I'm really concerned for my phone.
So... if you could kindly answer these questions;
1) If you restore your iPhone, will Apple really never know? I am a little accident prone lol..
2) Does it make your iPhone slower? (I'm assuming that it depends on the phone because maybe some people just have the bad egg of the batch..) And if so, how much slower?
However, if anyone has come up with a way to downloading SMS tones onto the iPhone4, please share it. I also just updated my iPhone to the 4.3.5 version; just saying, if that affects anything......
