i have a 3gen 8gb ipod touch model mc086ll with 4.2.1 on it. i have tried redsn0w and it stopped working at exploiting limera1n, i tried blackra1n it stoped at running...., i tried limera1n it finished but there was no limera1n icon and after that i read that its not compatible with 4.2.1 yet, i tried greenpois0n in windows and Ubuntu i cant rember where it stoped working in windows or if finished and didnt do anything i think it stoped at the part right after entering dfu mode, in linux, terminal gave me this:

why would it say ipod2 when i have an ipod3. i dont know what to do.
oh and with blackra1n i tried doing what ppl said and putting it in the c root and running it as admin that doesnt work cus then it cant find all the dlls it needs in the c:/programs files/common something/apple/apple something folder even in there when i run it as admin it doesnt work. with red snow i tried using the ipod3 4.2.1 recover ispw what else should i do i really want my ipod jailbroken.
