Jailbreak 4.2.1 without home button working.?

I have an iPod Touch 2g running on 4.2.1. The Home button is broken and no longer works, so each time I want to exit an app, I must completely reboot the iPod. Is there ANY possible way to jailbreak 4.2.1 without putting it into DFU mode (which requires home button)? Or maybe even putting into pwned dfu mode and applying an older version of firmware such as 4.0 and then just use jailbreakme.com? All answers are appreciated! Thanks!
