I didn't expect an animated web series about John Oates, one-half of the "rock and soul" band Hall and Oates. I also didn't expect a series about Oates' mustache, a fine piece of facial hair that he parted ways with after the band faded into obscurity in the 90s. Well, both are now coming true.
J-Stache is a new animated web series that I've discovered. The debut trailer is up on FunnyOrDie.com, where new episodes will debut. It stars Dave Attell as Oates' 'stache (named J-Stache) and, surprisingly, John Oates as himself. It looks really good. There's also a blog where J-Stache posts his thoughts and news on the series.
BTW, both the series and the blog contain explicit content like language.
