******J&M Amp Install Just Completed on Al's 2009 Street Glide...Pics Here******

So what's the difference between the "old style" J&M amp which is a 125.2 and the brand new one my buddy just got is different. His has a plug for everything, and mine has a plug, some speaker terminals, etc.

Is the newer revised one better? More powerful? I know the install is nicer...

I emailed John at J&M and provided him with the direct link to this thread so he can answer your question. He should respond soon.

Thank you for your patience.

JCleary ,,,,,

the only difference between the two versions of the J&M amp, is PCB layout and wire harness connection changes ,,,,,

performance, sound and power output are identical ,,,,,,

I apologize for the confusion on this issue ,,,,,

Installed today without a hitch, pretty straight forward. The amp makes a huge difference, almost deafening when it's cranked up.

I was reading earlier in the thread to set the treble to 2 bars and the bass to 4 bars, is that what everyone else is running with this setup? I went with that to start and things sounded pretty dang good at both low/high volumes. I was also impressed to see my batwing mirrors shaking because of the sound this setup puts out!

Another satisfied customer over here!

I have an 03 ElectraGlide with the RadioSound radio in it. I know I need the 8 ohm speakers if I don't order the amp. If I do this, can the amp be added later with the 8 ohm speakers, or it that not possible. Thanks.
