IzzoQuazzo,
1. Will I get more bass response with the J&M 7.25" speakers? Yes, you will get more bass with the J&M speakers over the Hogtunes, but keep in mind you won't get crazy bass from any in-fairing speaker. I am personally pleased with the bass response from my J&M 7.25" speakers when combined with the J&M 250 watt amp.
2. How will that work with the Tweeter Pod? The tweeter pod is a supplemental addition to any sound system and will work fine with the J&M setup. Al's 2009 Street Glide here has the Hogtunes tweeter pod in addition to the J&M 7.25" speakers and J&M 250 watt amp.
3. How do the J&M 7.25" speakers with the tweeters and midrange work with the Tweeter Pod? The tweeter pod just adds more high range frequency and a bit more volume.
4. If it won't work well with the Tweeter Pod can I get the J&Ms without the tweeters and midrange? The tweeter pod will work just fine.
5. What is the J&M amp used for, just the fairing speakers? Yes, the J&M 250 watt amp is a 2 channel amp used for just the front fairing speakers only.
6. With the Hogtunes amp already installed, is there any reason to use the J&M? Yes, MORE POWER! Hogtunes' amp peak power output is only 32 watts whereas J&M's is 250 watts. The J&M amp really makes the 7.25" speakers shine! You can run the Hogtunes amp with the 7.25" speakers like I did before the J&M amp was released, but the 7.25" speakers are then not being used at their highest potential. The results are night and day from the Hogtunes amp to the J&M. The sheer power difference is huge! You get an additional 218 watts of power with the J&M amp over the Hogtunes amp. You can try the J&M 7.25" speakers with the Hogtunes amp and then upgrade to the J&M amp later and you will then see the major difference.
