this thread is nearing 100,000 views and there is no way that any of us can wade thru all the posts ,,,,,

the competitors have posted here now and then to try and "poison" this thread ,,,,, and they have been unsuccessful ,,,,,

the bottom line is this ,,,, the J&M 7.25" speaker kits are THE most efficient and best sounding speaker upgrade you can buy for your Harley ,,,, with or without a J&M amplifier ,,,, period ,,,,,

sure I am the owner of J&M ,,, but it is more than that ,,,, I have had a new Ultra every year since 1989, and I would not talk about them here, unless it was true, I am quite fussy about all of my audio system components ,,,,

hope you all have a great weekend ,,,,,

The package really will benefit from the amp. As far as bass i s concerned, on the road at 60mph you really cannot hear the bass very well regardless of how much you have. The wind really cuts into that even with a batwing or shark nose.

The package with the amp sounds so good that I have decided to start saving for a bagger just so I can have this audio setup on my ride. I am the guy who swore a bagger would never happen!

I have to agree with John. J&M is a quality company that really interfaces here with the forum and the motorcyle audio industry. He always addresses everyones concerns has a great product and awesome customer service he is as real as they come.

His speakers are a huge improvement over the stock speakers by leaps and bounds period. When an amp is added and tuned correctly they are even better in fact my frickin rock! But sound is like taste and sound is relevant to dollars and sound on a motorcycle is even another thing. Important thing here is to dial your settings in on your system trial and error. Tune ride tune ride till you get it perfect.

In short if these speakers aren't for you then don't by the dang things. I did buy them and I have to tell you with the small cost for these speakers and the ARC Mini amp as I bought it before John's came out as this was one he was testing amps prior to designing his amp I completely satified.

I always say to each his is the American way. No need to bash a guy who has so much of his life committed to audio and specifaclly to us... Bikers and more intamently to us here on the forum.

John,
Thanks for the great product and all you have done for the industry.

After spending over two hours going through this thread, I may be changing my mind from getting the Biketronics 6.5 speakers and the BT480 amp to the J&M's for my newly aquired 2010 Ultra. Still weighing it all out. Even considering Hogtunes 3 way for the freeway plus the tweeter pod. Interesting reading...decisions...decisions.

The J&M's will leave the Hogtunes in the dust. Not knocking Hogtunes, but these are two very different quality sets of speakers. For the best sound get the J&M's, their amp, and the tweeter pods.

ERRONEOUS !!!!!!!! I can hear my bass at ANY speed.

It's funny that john mentioned people "poisoning" this thread,.....however he pops up in EVERY speaker thread to 'pimp' his product,........when his product isn't even in the discussion. THAT is poisoning a thread.

The J&M might be a decent speaker, and plug and play,...............but I'll say again:

IF IT WAS SUCH A GOOD SPEAKER, WHY DON'T HIGH END CAR AUDIO SHOPS CARRY THEM ???

Class dismissed.
