I cant wait till later this summer hoping J&M will be in Ruidoso New Mexico again this year for the rally. This way I can check them out first hand. I will have my money ready if they are what I would expect from J&M. See you guys in the mountains of New Mexico.

Installed the speakers without problems. As written before the grill holes did not line up exactly with the speaker adapters but it didn't prevent me from installing the speakers. The adapter and grill only required 3 screws just like the stock setup and the speaker themselves w/ four screws. As for the sound, i realize that you could never realistically make a streetglide sound system sound like a home or car system. All i could say that it is louder than stock. Its no Bose or logic 7 or whatever car stereo out there. I'm not going to piss any more money away chasing stereo performance.
I was just wondering if there is any adjustment when you put the new plastic J&Ms grill in the fairing ? I noticed on my road glide that they aren't exactly centered in the fairing opening, not an even gap all the way around the grill to fairing. Just wondering i have a habit of being anal and think i might have overlooked centering them better.
JMjohn,,,
Having the same issues as cooper, well actually quite few issues but thats in a earlier post. What sound source should we use? I hooked mine up to the factory Harmon Kardon stereo on my 2010 Streetglide and have played numerous cd's. Do these speakers require a break in period for them to develop Bass? Mine sound like a mouse singing soprano in a tin can! Maybe i have something set wrong? Do i need an AMP?
