If you are able, compare your setup to Hog Tunes... I find a better mid range with Hog Tunes over stock, but you said more bass... I would like to hear your impute.

I put some Kicker 6.75's in my fairing with a sony stereo and an inside the fairing ant. Sounds great and sold the stock stereo on ebay, more than paid for the whole setup. Sounds amazing compared to stock.

I got my 7.25" speakers from Dr. V-Twin last week and waited for the weekend to install. It got up to 50 degrees yesterday afternoon and I haven't ridden since November. I chose to ride instead of installing before the ride. I got home and installed yesterday evening.

I am very happy so far. Install was easy. They sound great so far, but I haven't ridden yet.

I did the install in my shed and pulled into my attached garage to park the bike when I was done. I was sitting out in the garage cranking the volume on different tunes (minding my own business and not hurting anyone) when my wife opened the door and started yelling at me to turn that thing off because she couldn't hear the TV inside the house.

Volume is greater than stock speakers, but the sound clarity at the higher volume is what I was after and seems to be what I was after.

Over the weekend I installed the 7.25" J&M speaker set up with an amp. The system kicks A$$. I was very unsure of the speakers at first sight due to the very small magnet. The size sure did fool me. Install was easy. I am running an ELF audio 2 channel amp (125 RMS per channel @ 2 ohms)- the word is that it is the same manufacturer of ARC audio... I have an 05' RG which has the 8 ohm set up but I opted to buy the J&M 2 ohm speakers as my amp produces 2 ohm output to each channel. Very happy I went with the amp and 2 ohm speakers. I cannot say enough on the great sound. GOOD JOB J&M.

Dennis, thanks for your business and let us know how you like them after the first ride.l Things are looking up if they got the wife yelling at you.

I got my new J&M 7.25 speakers today from Dr.Vtwin. I was in the garage within 20 minutes of getting home from work. First time I have taken the fairing off. As for the speakers, so far, so good. I have yet to button it all up yet as I found ALL FOUR of my fairing brackets busted. So I have a trip to Harley and Home Depot on my list tomorrow.
I did hook the Ipod up and played a couple songs, so far I like them alot. They must be pretty good....the old lady was bitching to turn it down and it wasn't up that loud.
