J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

I just upgraded the stereo on my Ultra, DR V-Twin installed the J & M 7.25 in the front and the 5.25 in the rear

I'm very happy with the speakers, the difference over the stock speakers is like night and day, they are plenty loud, with no distortion, there is no problem hearing the music doing 70 on the freeway over my Jackpot mufflers, I see no reason to add a amp unless you want your ears to bleed

I want to thank Shawn and Al at DR V Twin for providing excellent customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone...

Had Front and back speakers installed today. Night and Day for me...All the service personnel really like the sound...Tech like the foam to install...
Ears hurt only 50% volume....

It has taken me about 6 months to decide on which audio upgrades to go with. I selected J&M to cover my speakers (F&R) along with my new headset to go with my new Nolan N103.

Installation of the headset was easy as pie and very little modification to my helmet. This weekend I am going to install my speakers, but will have to await my tank to check out the new tunes though Tank is in the shop getting a scratch fixed.

John I am impressed so far... fastest shipping on the block to APO address (less than 7 days). I am sure once I get the speakers installed my friends will be jealous... they are anxiously awaiting the install

If I choose to install an amp, you can bet I will keep it all in the family!

PS... I got a little antsy, so I installed the rear speakers... oh so easy
 
Got everything installed, which by the way quite easy, and man I could tell the difference right away... I could actually hear some bass. I played around with the settings and before I knew I was putting out some really nice tunes. I still don't have a gas tank, so we'll see what happens when I hit the road as I have SE Street Performance pipes... OBTW the volume was on 4 bars and it was comparable to having the stock speakers cranked up to 7-8 bars...
