J&M, Howz about having a tester for them 7.25"s in the South East?
Fl / Al state line area.

We have a 1,000 + miles of beaches to cruise. All year long.

Talk about testing/demoing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Further to that point I matched. Up the 7
.25 km speakers. With. The arc 125.2 fairing amp and WOW talk about tight. Bass!
Great combo

John at J&M has highly recommended the Arc amp as an amp that will work great with the J&M 7.25" speakers. I haven't seen the Arc amp up close and we have never installed one, so I can't really say, but more amps out there should be a plug and play design. I wouldn't want to install an amp that isn't plug and play. We are in the process of being setup as an Arc audio dealer, however the J&M amp is not that far out and I would really recommend waiting for the J&M so we can compare tech data and pricing between all the amps available. I also recommend waiting for the J&M amp as I am sure the 7.25" speakers were tested with the new J&M amp for days and days for speaker torture testing and also due to the fact that I know Dr. V-Twin will be able to offer deep discounts on any J&M product to the forum members.

I just installed a set of the J&M 7.25 speakers with the matching 5.25 rear speakers in my UC this weekend. I went with black on the tweeter and mid speaker. The instructions were easy to follow and the install went smoothly for both sets. The sound from these speakers is very good and is light years better than the stock speakers. The rears really compliment the whole sound.

I run dresser duals and Rush mufflers on this bike and with the cam it can be a little on the loud side. When I did the test ride today, I didn't have any issues hearing the vocals along with the music. Nice and clear no matter the engine or road speed. Right now I don't see any reason to add an amp (JMHO).

Overall, I'd say these are a winner. They might be considered a little pricey but I feel you get what you pay for with these.

I for one will definitely be postponing my final amp decision until the new J & M comes out in a month or two. I love the new 7.25's but a little more "kick", especially in the bass end, would be nice.I also agree with some of the previous posts that $400 to $500 for a 125 X 2 amp to power these JM 7.25's seems high.

I got an e-mail fr. John at JM and he suggested replacing the speaker brackets w the new ones #58938-96C and 58939-96C which are 9.25 ea.. Both of mine have broke and there is much discussion on these in other threads. I know the instructions don't say to do this but they do break. Great Pictures.

Ken, Shawn... I received the 7.25 front and 5.25 rear speakers via Fedex ground on Saturday as promised. I got them installed this morning... I have to admit I was a little skeptical about all the ranting and raving on these speakers mainly due to the fact that I originally purchased HogTunes for my Ultra, then decided to give the other brand name 6" speakers a try and was sorely dissapointed in them so I pulled them out and put my HogTunes back in and returned to vendor for refund.

So here's my setup;
7.25" J&M in the fairing
5.25" J&M in the rear
two of these road rage 100W amplifiers (purchased many months ago and installed with the HogTunes)

The only thing I can think to say about these speakers is simply put by the Joker...
"Wait til they getta loada me"

Holy crap I'm impressed and that my friends does not happen easily!

So basically here are my accolades to Dr VTwin for pushing these things, J&M for manufacturing them, and for those who are on the fence about purchasing them.

Ken and Shawn do what they say, stand behind what they say, and sell a GREAT product at a GREAT price...

Hats off to you gentlemen.

oh yeah and one more thing!

WHO DAT!!!

Received the 7.25 and 5.25 for the Ultra Classic install this past weekend, pretty easy install, so I turned them up a little over 1/4 way and was not impressed sound loudness was about the same as orig speakers.
Had the orig up to 3/4 a little more and they sounded pretty good standing in my drive way. But put the J&M S 3/4 and the higher they were in volume, the better sounding they became ,turned them up 3/4 a little more and walked across the street MAN THESE SOUND GOOD,even had the neighbor 2 houses down comming out of his garage to see what the noise was about ,they are loud.
Took it for a putt and even the wife was not complaining about just hearing screaming from the speakers nice and clear, and yes a AMP would make these things thump even more so.
So over all am very satisfied with the purchase ,sound is great and they are ,louder and clearer, blows stock speaker away by far. Great investment"cant wait for the amp"but not needed at this point. I just like it loud.
