45 degrees and sunny. Dry Roads. Good enough to get out and put a few miles on. I can say I'm completely satisfied with the J&M 7.25 speaker upgrade. At 70mph on the highway, no problem whatsoever hearing the tunes and the vocals cut through clearly.

Can't wait for spring!

J&M Speakers @ $279 - HogTunes Speakers @ $79 = $200 saved

IMO, HogTunes are the better bang for your buck. Don't think I need spendy speakers on the bike that are better than my home stereo system. My HogTunes sound just fine while running the roadways, expressways & interstate.

The Hogtunes sound good. I wouldn't say they are bad at all. It's just the J&M's offer more for those that are looking for every ounce of sound and power in a well packaged setup.

The J&Ms may retail at: $279.99, but we offer them at far less to the forum members.

I have personally had both the Hogtunes and the new J&M 7.25" speakers and I have to say the J&Ms are worth every penny.

Dr. V - where do I go to find out the Forum members price?
I installed a complete Hog Tunes set up but still at 70 MPH on the High way I still cant hear crap out of my 5 1/4's hog tunes.

I'd go for the 7.25's if someone can tell me again that they had what I had (Hog Tunes) and it was worth yanking my dash 5.25's for the 7.25's...

I would expect it to be a lil better just because they are bigger...but are they better??????????? Know what I'm sayin?

Gliden, I sent you a PM regarding pricing. The J & M's are definitely head and shoulders above the Hogtunes. there is no comparison. It is well worth pulling the inner fairing. I Had Hogtunes on another bike I had and you will not be sorry.

Not a problem. If you have any questions regarding anything else please feel free to ask. We are here to help with everything.

I just got around to installing those along with a set of boston acoustic components in the fairing of my RG and have to say even without the outer fairing on, what a difference it makes. I am running the arc audio mini 125.2 amp and kenwood deck and like I said even without the fairing on yet the bass is noticeably better. Not a huge fan of the tweeters that they use but my bostons take up for the slack in sound.
