user861241,

Email me on Monday with your full name and your shirt size and I will see if we have your size in stock. If we do, I promise to send one out to you the very same day. Sorry about that.

By the way guys, for a limited time we are offering the $222.00 shipped price on the J&M 7.25" speakers for those of you looking for a deal.

Call us on Monday. We have both Batwing fairing and Road Glide speakers in stock and we ship very quickly!

Thanks!

Shawn

Just got my J&M 7.25's installed. Thanks Shawn (Dr. V-Twin) for the great deal. Ordered them on monday afternoon and they were on my doorstep friday (not bad considering coast to coast).

Install was a breeze, took me a few hours taking my time and sipping a few cold one's along the way. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Did have to do a little searching on the forum to find a good thread about removing the fairing. Found this one: http://hdforums.com/forum/electrical-and-lighting/307059-batwing-fairing-removal-with-speaker-upgrades-and-installation.html which was very helpful.

The speakers sound good. Didn't get a chance to ride with them yet (and probably won't until spring) but will report back when I get a chance. I did turn it up a little over half way (my normal riding volume) and there was absolutely no degradation to the sound quality, which is a big improvement over the stock speakers.

Hey JMJOHN,

I have been reading a lot about your speakers, I have a few questions:

1. How do I become a tester (I'm in Australia and ride a 07 Street Glide) for your speakers?
2. If you have finished testing who is the best person to get a deal from, I have been told DR.VTWIN is pretty good.

I ride with a lot of different groups and always get comments on my bikes, the prooblem I have with shipping the speakers will cost me almost $300 a lot for a set of speaker. Any advise or help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Milan

Shawn,

I have been told by Harleymike77 from the V-Twinforum that you are the man to speak to, I have also sent a question to JMJOHN about becoming a tester for his speakers - if you don't ask you dont get.

What sort of deal can you do for a set of speakers to Australia (07 Street Glide) as I said to John by the time we add shipping these bad boys will cost me over $300, so any help would be more than appreciated.

Regards

Milan

Milan,

Please PM me with your full and complete address, phone number and email address and I will enter in the weight and dimensions of the speaker box into our FEDEX system and give you an accurate freight quote.

I will do my best to get you a set of these amazing speakers at the lowest possible price including shipping. We have them in stock and ready to ship out and we have more on the way from J&M.

Thanks!

Shawn

I thought I would add a little fuel to this discussion. I ordered these a couple of weeks ago from Shawn (before the price war started ;-) and installed them a few days after I got them. I had the ARC speakers and 125 mini amp and was not really pleased with the need to place my CB and XM in weird places. I had hoped that the new speakers would give me enough volume and fairly good sound without the need for the amp. I am pleased to say that they have exceeded my expectations and even at interstate speeds. I may be in the market for the JM amp once its released later but may just decided to save my money.

Glad to hear that the J&M 7.25" speakers worked the way you had hoped they would. Thanks for your business and we will keep everyone posted on when the J&M amp is available and in stock here at Dr. V-Twin.

Thanks for the review!

Shawn

I like your posting about how well they are working. My question is "are the adapter rings available for sale so another speaker can be used"? Are there any other 7.25 speakers for a competitively clone to this set up? I would go with the 6.5 rings and speakers but I like the idea of the bigger size with pipes and wind noise,

thanks

As far as I know, J&M does not list a part number just for the adapter rings, hardware, or acoustic foam which is all included with their 7.25" speaker kit.
