J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

I had a post that I edited. I think it is important to support the sponsors of the forums I visit, even if that might not be the lowest price. I did get a quoted price that I passed on to Shawn that was $195 plus $15 shipping. Not sure what else is needed. I have an email I could forward on. Either way, if the other retailer is selling them for that much less they must be getting a good deal from J&M or they are loosing a profit to gain customers. I have not bought anything yet. Shawn has always answered mY pm's quickly, but then again so has the other guy. I think competition is good for the consumer but not so much for the retailer. Shawn might have won some people over by either just verifying and matching or saying he can't beat that price and leave it at that. But, if I was in his shoes I may not have been so diplomatic. Afterall this is a guys livelyhood and I know it's not easy to keep your business running in this economy. My hat is off to Shawn for offering a product at what he feels is a very good price with good customer service and support of this site. My hat off to the other guy for struggling to get his piece of the small pie. Now..... I can't decide what to get for my FLHX. Who wants to give me a set to try?
 
Whoa what a trip, I responded to the thread then saw all this stuff about Dr. Vtwin. I've dealt with these guys for awhile now, and bought many items from them. In fact it was their shop today where I listened to these speakers. I've never dealt with anyone who repsonds as quickly, ships as quickly, and offers as great pricing as they do. NOBODY, I mean NOBODY is ever the cheapest on everything. But these guys come pretty damn close. I've saved hundreds of dollars shopping with these guys, and will continue to do so. Weather you are satisfied with his pricing or not on one single item, I think flaming a guy and his livelihood is pretty weak. If you ever get a chance to meet Shawn, Al, or Angel, you'll know these are ALL top notch guys who know their parts, and go way above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Straight up and honest is all I've ever got from them. And they're cool as hell to talk too. We can all be internet badasses if we want but when you deal with a guy face to face, that's when you know what kind of guy you're dealing with.............but what do I know, i've only got 18 posts.....
 
I am sorry that some have gotten bent out of shape over this, but again, there is no legit way to find the price listed anywhere, so I did what was suggested and I called Vail today and spoke to Carrie there and she quoted me a price of: $230.00 shipped, which again is different that what everyone else on here reported, so when I see these posts and hear differently from the company itself, I don't know what to believe.

When I mentioned the HDforum member price, she didn't know what I was referring to, so she spoke to someone else and came back and said that she could get me a lower price, but the shipping would cost more due to the package being an oversized one. Again, the price wasn't the same as what others have posted here. Every price on here that others have posted has been different with no consistency.

Again, I apologize for all these unnecessary posts. We can, however easily match the $230.00 shipped price as that is what I personally verified.

We don't want anyone on here to dislike us. We want to do what it takes to make sure you guys are satisfied.

We sold out of J&M 7.25" speakers today, but more are in transit to us as we speak. We will be able to resume shipping them when we receive them on Monday. UPS won't deliver them to us this Thursday when they should be delivered to us due to it being New Year's Eve.

If you had posted this hours ago, even though the price was different and a tad less than yours, probably a lot of this may not have been posted. I mean what was the big secret about calling...Just saying.

LMFAO at the Newbie here and don't underestimate those 18 post, 1 is really important. Let me see if I got this right Ronnie. A couple of us simply ask Dr. V-Twin if he can MATCH a price, not BEAT it (and that will be important in just a minute so follow along) JUST MATCH IT and WE are "flaming" him, "pretty weak" and "internet badasses" and yet YOU do it (see below) and it's okay.....again LMFAO at ya dude!!!
