J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

I have them in my streetglide and like them. Also I took a sheet of water membrane material used for concrete waterproofing....bitchithane and stuck to back side....makes a huge difference

October 14th - 18th we will be at Biketoberfest in Daytona beach FL with the 7.25s on display and for sale, then back across the country to LA county fairgrounds in Pomonoa for the Love Ride ,,,,, J&M BigRig with our full audio systems display ,,,

we cannot make the CA Hog Rally also, unless I figure a way to put twin 1,000 horse CAT diesels in the front of our Freightliner and hire three drivers to run non-stop, with Burt Reynolds to run the Firebird to keep the law off our tail ,,,,,

with the OBAMA-BOTS now in office, you get a grasp of how long that would fly !?!?!

Where are you going to be for Biketoberfest? And any deals when we get there for forum members. Will be there from Pennsylvania and am interested in seeing your product.

I was picked as one of the "testers" for the new 7.25" speakers. After a long awaited delivery I finally got them yesterday and got them installed last night. Took me roughly an hour taking my time.

I had already upgraded from the factory speakers to J&M when I bought the bike. The stock speakers are awful. I thought you would never get any better than what I had unless you had an amp. Well I was wrong. These new 7.25" speakers are great. I just got back from about 250 miles of riding and we rode anywhere from 35 mph to 80 mph and no matter what speed I could always here the radio loud and clear. I always ride 2 up and my wife said these speakers made a big difference on the back. The only thing I had to do was turn the bass down just a little bit. If you got the volume to high the bass did sound a little distorted. Again you have to remember they are on a motorcycle so overall they were great. I was thinking about buying an amp but not anymore. These speakers are plenty loud. I would definatly recommend these to anyone that says they cant here there radio.

Thanks to John at J&M for allowing me to be one of the ones testing his new product. These are surley one on the best speakers on the market.

I replaced my old J&M speakers with the new 7.25" speakers this weekend. Took a little over an hour for the install. Everything fit like a glove and no installation problems. Test rode this weekend and the speakers are great out on the road. Can actually hear the bass very well. I'm running the Hogpro 50 watt amp. Loud as all get out. Definitely a worthy upgrade, in my opinion. Got the speakers off ebay for $245 shipped. Eastern.
