J. Dilla+Soul Samples overrated, i think so?

Im not a fan the soul samples but J. Dilla is overrated due to his death. Im shouting out to all the dcckriders that listen to "Won't do" and listen to it everyday. Donuts sucked alot and alot of his other crap for common and pharcyde sucked. His project with madlib was decent at most. Kanye West, Pete Rock, Premo, etc. alot of their work is garbage too becuase they are nothing without SAMPLING!!


What Rap needs is a producer like Alchemist with gritty beats and less sampling... J. Dilla and his gay soul brothers sample galore and therefor are trash producers IMO.

finally someone who think the same, i was never a fan of the chop and sample of old soul music with the added snares and kicks to them,but i dont think dilla suck just the soul samples dont impress me as someone who makes there own melodies and notes into there beats,example the neptunes

I have never listened to a song produced by J. Dilla and I never will. I'll stick with DJ Premier and Marley Marl thank you very much
