help me re: made in USA? Back in the day (70's-80's) the average family was able to buy wares, clothing, tools, etc from the USA and many without a line of credit to do so. Now, we have Walmart, Target and most things made in other countries specifically China.
People argue that if everything were made in the USA we could never afford it now. How was the average family able before the 90's free trade decision then?
The people that argue that we are more fortunate now have never answered WHY it is? Is it just corporate greed? I realize the cost of materials and items will rise with time, but wouldn't this still be set for the average family to afford, even if all made in the US?
