I've never seen an Indiana Jones movie

As the title says. But DH wants to go and see the new one so we are off to the cinema tonight.

Is there any backstory I need to know to understand the film? I know he is an archaeologist but is there anything crucial that will mean I am totally confused if I don't know it?

Can't ask DH as he doesn't know we are going!

Nothing vital, but some info you should know to make some of the character moments make more sense:

His real name is Henry Jones Junior ("Indiana" is a nickname).

His father, Henry Jones, was played in the third film by Sean Connery.

His best friend was the Dean of the university he at which he works, called Marcus Brody.

The woman love interest in the first film (set 19 years before this film) is called Marion Ravenwood.
