I've lost some of my photos in a file on my computer. How can i get them back?

u could try searching for the on your computer, if that doesnt work just look on google there is probably something if your using apple use the spotlight in the top right hand corner its basically a search box.
 
They were all taken by a program called YouCam which is basically a webcam, but you can take photos. There are some of my favourite photos on there and i'd love to get them back, i can't buy anything, for example recovery disks but are there any websites..? Thank You :)
