...and plugged my scanner in...? but my computer is not recognising / detecting the scanner as being installed, although it does appear on the list in Safely Remove Hardware (but not the hardware list in system properties.) It says 'scanning software could not be found' but you don't need that for basic functionality do you?
I've lost my Packard Bell Diamond 1200 software disc, I've downloaded the drivers...
