...girls as young as 11 years? I must have missed the bit where they repealed the law which said that sex under the age of 16 is illegal. Can anyone tell me when under-age sex became legal?
 
ill just add to this not every 11yr old will be having sex
the doctor is going to put my 12 almost 13yr old on the pill to help her heavy periods he wuld have given her it at 11 but wanted to wait a yr for her body to try and regulate itself
dont jump to they will be having it so they can have sex
 
Some people under the age of 16 are going to have sex regardless of the law. People need to be educated about safe-sex and make their own choices- that is at least better than refusing contraception to kids who are going to do it anyway.
