Please, please don't mess with gas it is so dangerous unless you know what you am doing and it is also illegal now if you are in the UK, read what happened with regards to gas in Shrewsbury, UK you really don't want that!

system? for att ricky? ive just bled a radiator on a baxi heating system. how do i re pressurize my system?
ive just checked and i dont have any flexible hose connected to my boiler, its a 35/80 ie system. about 4years old. ive tried following what i think is the supply in but it goes behind the kitchen unit. as far as i can see from left to right theres a water out copper pipe, gas in copper pipe, water return copper pipe and water supply copper pipe.
i opened the front cover and theres a round red valve on the water supply in. should i try opening this to leave more water into the system?

this is the pressure relief valve. dont touch it.
a system boiler wil have 2 x 22mm copper pipes (heating flow and return)
a 15mm copper gas pipe.
a 15mm pressure relief valve.
and a plastic overflow for the condensing waste is within 4 years old (2005).

a combi will have an extra 2 x15mm copper pipes (hot water and cold mains in).

If you have a system boiler then you will have to hunt around a bit as the filling loop could be anywhere in the house. I would look In the loft where the header tank used to be.
It will be in a location where the water main and heating pipes are near each other.
If you follow the water main from the incoming stopcock to all outlets including you tank within your loft space you should find it. If not you will need a plumber to find it.
please put the boiler case back on as this is seen as crossing the line as far as safe diy goes. removing the boiler case can been seen as interfering with the combustion process which is breaking the gas safe regs. sorry for the lecture.
