So I'm a sophomore in high school I've had little flings with guys etc. but I have never had a legit boyfriend.. I really want one but I'm scared that a relationship isn't what I want. I feel like my friends with boyfriends are "tied" down.. I'm really independent and like doing my own thing and not telling someone what I am doing 24/7! I also like looking good at school and I feel like my friends that have a boyfriend stop caring about their appearance. I can obviously control that one!
I feel like what I want is "friends with benefits" It just seems slutty.. But I want the commitment, you know? So should I talk to the guy? and tell him what I want in the relationship?
