Obviously I'm going to get to a doctor right away...but I thought I'd see if I could get any input beforehand so I can actually be able to fall asleep tonight.
Anyways. I am currently being treated for bacterial vaginosis. The night before last, I woke up in the middle of the night scratching my genital area, and it was so bad that it ended up raw by morning. This evening it itched again, and I noticed a bump that was not there before. It's sore from all the scratching...but still quite itchy.
Do you think that this bump is just irritation from scratching? Or should I be more worried about herpes?
My only sexual partner since the last time I was tested swears he's clean, but who could really know without an actual test, right?
Please give me your input...not your lecture, however. I did not come here looking for someone to tell me to use a condom...we all make mistakes now and again.
